We are seeking a highly motivated and well-spoken candidate for the role of Inside Sales Specialist. This candidate should be assertive to achieve results and detail oriented with a drive to succeed.

The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing new relationships, uncovering opportunities, and converting these opportunities into closed sales to meet target metrics. The ISS will be responsible to communicate directly with customers to understand their needs and identify when to supply additional information or quotation of our product or service. The ISS may recognize an opportunity that should be explored further and coordinate with the outside sales team to investigate for further development. Lead capture and marketing using Hubspot CRM will be a primary tool in this role. Additional marketing duties may include content generation and support through various tasks and activities to support the companies’ overall initiatives. A strong work history in B2B industrial sales experience or manufacturing in a machining environment would be preferred.

Inside Sales Duties:

  • Develop and nurture an account list – combination of existing accounts and incoming leads for further development
  • Outbound sales calls and emails to develop new or potential prospects
  • Communicate with potential and existing customers for new sales opportunities.
  • Identify a customer’s needs and recommend a solution with our core partners
  • Answer a customer’s questions and following up with supportive information
  • Quote follow up using our sales process
  • Maintain record of contact engagement in CRM
  • Maintain KPI data
  • Maintain and update product pricing as required
  • Coordination of projects to meet deadlines
  • Work toward individual sales goals and target metrics

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years working B2B industrial sales, manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Possess or working towards a degree in marketing, business administration, business management or related field.
  • Have been involved with the discussion of technical requirements in manufacturing of machined parts or similar.
  • Ideal candidates for this position are inside sales managers, inside sales representatives or most roles related to sales and marketing would be considered.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in B2B industrial sales or manufacturing
  • Sales and Sales Administration – Minimum 2 years
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of general PC software applications. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willing to travel occasionally to customer facilities – 10%
  • Willing to vaccinate and obtain a passport to visit partners overseas – once in the first year.
